From the kitchen, great room, and main floor master suite, double glass doors lead you to a spacious and comfortable deck with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Downstairs, the Western Room will take you back to another place and time. The antique oak queen-sized bed with hand-carved wood details is a unique focal point. Western accents include a wagon wheel, cowboy hats, saddle, boots, lariat, and vintage cowbells and oil lantern. Bring along your favorite Louis L’Amour novel, stretch out on the luxurious memory foam mattress, and lose yourself in this inviting slice of the Old West. This bedroom has its own private bath.
On rainy days, the entire family can enjoy the downstairs game room, equipped with pool table, card table, games, puzzles, books and TV/DVD player. Got an Elvis in the family? Then grab the microphone for a fun night of singing along with the Karaoke machine, complete with a variety of CD’s from which to choose your best performance or bring your own favorites. Food tastes better in the mountains, especially when prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen and served on the expansive, handcrafted heart pine table. Surrounded by a wall of windows that bring the mountains indoors, you’ll want to savor each bite and linger after dinner, delighting in the view of Chimney Rock Mountain softly illuminated in the evenings. 
After a busy day of hiking, swimming, boating, or shopping, you’ll appreciate coming home to one of three luxurious master bedroom suites, each with private bath and each cleverly decorated with attention-grabbing artifacts and antiques. The first floor master bedroom boasts a king-sized massive aspen log bed, hand crafted in true mountain-lodge style. Your perfect night’s sleep is ensured with cozy bedding and a sumptuous memory foam mattress. The adjoining master bath has plenty of room for two in the elegant walk-in, slate tiled shower with double glass doors, double shower heads, a built-in slate seat, and grab bars. This shower is the perfect getaway for those romantic honeymooners and is handicap friendly for those with handicap needs. 
Ready for an adventure? Then step across the game room to the Sportsman’s Room with accents so real you’ll think you’re on an outdoor expedition. Outdoor lovers will feel right at home with cane fishing poles, canoe paddle, fishing net, an authentic duck decoy, and hand carved wooden animals sharing this spacious master bedroom and private bath. The memory foam mattresses on the two queen beds will lure you to sleep so you can dream about your next exciting outdoor adventure in the North Carolina mountains.
• 3 full baths, 1 unique half bath. Bath on main level is handicapped friendly with double walk-in, slate tiled shower and 36” bedroom and bathroom doorways for wheelchair access. The shower door openings are 25 3/4” wide. (Bring your own handicap shower seat, if needed.) Two lower baths are roomy with tub/shower combinations.
