This new 3-story, immaculate mountain cabin, located only 5 minutes from the sparkling waters of Lake Lure and the quaint shops and restaurants of Chimney Rock Village, is accessible by an easy mountain road. It is nestled in a hemlock forest on a ridge in the heart of the Hickory Nut Gorge with a close up view of Chimney Rock. A stroll down the road provides more scenic views of Rumbling Bald Mountain where you might chance to see mountain climbers in action.
Start your day off with breakfast on one of the 3 large covered decks watching the sun rise on Chimney Rock. As you spend your day in Chimney Rock Park, experiencing some of the most beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls in western North Carolina, look across the Gorge and you can spot Chimney Lure Retreat, your home away from home. Return to your peaceful and cozy cabin in the evening and use the telescope in the loft to watch, up close, the lowering of the flag at Chimney Rock.
The game room on the lower floor is a perfect spot for a spirited game of table tennis or pool, Karaoke and watching videos – a great hangout for teenagers. The kitchenette makes it easy to prepare popcorn and snacks in the microwave and store drinks in the mini-fridge, and a daybed with trundle and pull-out sofa provide additional sleeping. |

From the many windows in this 2,000 square foot cabin, or from one of three covered decks, you have stunning year round views of Chimney Rock, the surrounding mountain peaks, a variety of birds (including hummingbirds and wild turkey), and deer walking through a hemlock forest. With all the comfy sitting areas and bedrooms, each individual can find their own space for solitude and reflection, then come together in the family room or game room for fun and fellowship.
• New 2,000 square foot log cabin on 3 levels with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Main floor bedroom has King sized bed with adjoining bath with large shower with 2 seats. Upstairs bedroom has a Queen sized handcrafted log bed and bathroom with shower with seat. Downstairs bedroom has Queen sized bed and bath with tub/shower combination. Also day bed with trundle (like 2 twins) and queen sleeper sofa in Game Room. Sleeps 8-10.
