Decorated with an air of rustic elegance throughout, the main floor living area of the cabin is bright and airy with 2-story windows
Completing the main floor are one bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a set of bunk beds (double bed on bottom and twin bed on top). There is also one full bath with tub shower combination on this floor. The master suite is upstairs, has a queen sleigh bed, TV with Direct TV and stereo, and a full bath with tub shower/combo. Outside the master bedroom is a separate sitting area offering a quiet space for reading while enjoying gorgeous views of the lake from the 2-story windows.

All bedrooms in this cabin have very high quality, comfortable mattresses promising a blissful night’s sleep, and hair dryers are provided in both bathrooms. The basement level is furnished for casual family gatherings with a sofa sleeper, TV with DVD/VHS player, stereo system, billiards table, books, games and toys for little ones, including a Radio Flyer Red Wagon!

Chapel Point Haven is about 2-1/2 miles from the Lake Lure Marina and Beach and Chimney Rock State Park and is located on a quiet, paved road with easy access. The cabin is within walking distance to Firefly Cove, where the “Dirty Dancing Festival” is held each September. There’s also another hiking trail nearby that is part of Chimney Rock State Park that is for more serious hikers, rock climbers and spelunkers and has gorgeous long-range mountain views. There is ample parking for 4 cars at Chapel Point Haven.

Located on 1.2 wooded acres with pretty lake views, this cabin offers lots of privacy with no other homes too close. Guests have access to a wide, deep water cove on Lake Lure, which is private to the neighborhood and only a short stroll across the road. You can swim in the lake, picnic on the shore and the fishing is great! Also within walking distance is Firefly Cove, which was the setting for the filming of several scenes in the iconic movie “Dirty Dancing.” So bring your canoe (or rent one locally), explore the lake and watch the sun set over our dramatically beautiful mountains.
